Hellenization of the Byzantine Empire
The Greeks managed an unprecedented feat, without an army, they have forged a culturally the Byzantine empire. The Romans of the Eastern Roman Empire were conquered by Hellenism as shown in the text below:

Os Gregos conseguiram um feito inédito, sem exército, eles conseguiram conquistar culturalmente o império Bizantino. Os Romanos do Império Romano Oriental foram conquistados pelo helenismo como mostra o texto abaixo:
A partir do reinado de Heráclito, 610-641, ocorreu um processo de helenização
do Império, isto é de paulatina ascensão da influência grega. Nesse
período, de uma certa maneira, Bizâncio deixa de ser o Império Romano
do Oriente para ser o Império Grego do Oriente: a língua grega substituiu o
latim como língua oficial. Assim, o que antes estava unido, sob Justiniano,
Ocidente e Oriente, foi separado, e isso só fez o antagonismo Ocidente/
